Phantom Junction
Play Phantom Junction free online. Flip the track switches of a haunted carnival ride so every ghost cart rolls to the station of its own colour and shape.
How to Play Phantom Junction
The ghost carts of an old carnival ride roll out of the tunnel at the top and follow the rails downward. The rails split at switches, and each branch ends at a station. Every cart carries a colour and a symbol, and every station has a matching colour and symbol. A cart that arrives at its own station is a good delivery.
Tap a switch to flip it. The arrow on the switch shows which way the next cart will go. A cart picks its direction at the moment it reaches the switch, so you can flip a switch right up until a cart touches it, and flip it back for the cart after.
A cart that reaches the wrong station costs one of your three lanterns. Lose all three and the ride shuts down. Carts come faster and closer together the longer you last.
The ride grows as you play. You start with two stations and one switch, and every ten good deliveries the track clears and a new branch opens, up to six stations and five switches.

Tips and Tricks
- Deal with the cart closest to a switch first. Carts further back can wait.
- Read the whole route from the tunnel to the station once, then only watch the switches that matter for each cart.
- Switches keep their setting, so after a big delivery rush, check that the next cart is not heading down the last cart's branch.
- Symbols are there as well as colours. If two colours look alike to you, follow the shapes instead.
About the Game
Phantom Junction is a busy little traffic game in the style of classic train-switch puzzles, with a carnival ghost-ride theme. It starts calm and builds into a juggling act, and a run can last a minute or much longer.
The rails run under strings of carnival bulbs, and each cart glows with its own colour and symbol. It plays well on a phone held upright. Your best delivery score is kept in this browser and can go on the Top 10 board.
Phantom Junction FAQ
How many stations can there be?
Up to six. You start with two, and a new one opens after every ten good deliveries until all six are open.
When does a cart decide which way to go?
At the moment it reaches a switch. Until then you can change the switch as often as you like.
Do I have to rely on colour alone?
No. Each cart and station also shows a matching symbol, so the game can be played without telling colours apart.
What happens when a new station opens?
The game waits for the carts on the track to finish, then redraws the ride with one more branch and a new switch.
