Back From the Grave

Reaper Man is an underground, experimental artist out of South Nashville, Tennessee. He mixes gangster rap, rock-rap and emo into a sound that is gritty and melodic, and it doesn't fit in one genre box.

His story is part of the sound. He started making music at 14. Over the years he lost a huge amount of unreleased material, and he stepped away from music for a long stretch. When he came back, he came back harder than ever, with new singles, new videos, remixes and a catalog rebuilt from the ground up.

Back from the grave, harder than ever.

Since 2020 he has put out 12 singles and 27 videos, and built his own home on the web at reaperman.com, complete with a merch store and an arcade. His album "HARD TIMES" has been announced, so this is the moment to get in early.

The Sound

At the core is Southern gangster rap, the hard, dark lane that Memphis legends Three 6 Mafia carved out. On top of that, Reaper Man pulls in the weight of rock and the honesty of emo, over trap drums. The result is music that hits hard but still has melody.

The catalog moves between hard-hitting records like "Let Me Fry" and "Pockets Get Money", and darker, more personal songs like "Walk It Off", "Anxiety", "Thoughts" and "Miss U".
