For everyone
Accessibility
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Reaper Man wants everyone to be able to enjoy the music, play the arcade, and shop the merch. We're a small independent business working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we keep improving the Site as we go.
What We Do
- Use real headings, labeled links and buttons, and text descriptions for meaningful images.
- Make menus, forms, the arcade leaderboard and the cookie controls usable with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
- Give info pages a "Skip to content" link and a layout that works on phones and when zoomed in.
- Respect your device's "reduce motion" setting on many pages.
- Show arcade game rules in plain text next to each game.
Known Limitations
We know some parts of the Site aren't fully accessible yet:
- Arcade games are fast-paced and need quick reactions with a keyboard, mouse or touchscreen. They may be hard or impossible to play with some assistive technology, and some use flashing or shaking effects.
- The video unlock: each game unlocks only while its YouTube video is playing. If you can't start or keep the video playing, contact us and we'll help.
- Embedded players from YouTube and Spotify are made by those companies, and their accessibility is outside our control. Captions depend on what's available on YouTube.
- Visual style: some decorative glowing text and dark red-on-black designs may be harder to read for some visitors. Your browser's zoom and high-contrast settings can help.
- Checkout is provided by Shopify, which publishes its own accessibility information.
Need Help or Found a Problem?
If anything on the Site is hard to use, please tell us. We want to fix it, and we'll help you another way in the meantime, for example by helping you place an order by email or sending lyrics as plain text.
Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you were using. Our support hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central Time.
