How to Play Odd Spirit Out
The portrait gallery of the haunted manor is full of ghosts that look exactly alike, except one. Each round shows a grid of framed ghost portraits. Find the one ghost that is different and tap it.
The difference can be in its shade, its eyes, its tilt, its size, its mouth or the way its bow sits. The same kind of difference never comes twice in a row, so you have to scan for all of them.
The game starts with a three by three grid. Every few finds the grid grows, all the way up to eight by eight, and the differences get smaller. You start with 45 seconds on the clock. Each find adds two seconds, and each wrong tap takes away three. When the clock reaches zero, the game is over.
Each find scores ten points plus more as the game goes on. Spot the odd ghost in under two seconds for a Quick Eye bonus.

- Arrow keys move the highlight frame, Space or Enter picks that ghost. P or Escape pauses, M mutes.
Tips and Tricks
- Do not study each ghost one by one. Relax your eyes and look at the whole grid; the odd one often jumps out.
- If nothing stands out, check one feature at a time across the grid: the bows, then the eyes, then the tilt.
- Wrong taps are expensive. When unsure, take an extra second instead of guessing.
- The clock can go up to one minute, so a fast streak early builds a safety cushion.
About the Game
Odd Spirit Out is a quick visual test that gets harder in a smooth, steady way. The early grids take a blink; the big late grids with tiny differences take real focus.
Each ghost hangs in a gold frame on dark red wallpaper, and the found ghost lights up green before the next round. It plays upright and works well on phones. Your best score is saved in this browser and can go on the Top 10 board.
